While out doing their volunteer work, rescuers from Howl Of A Dog stumbled upon an emotional sight. Mere meters away from a busy road were three puppies playing with each other—blissfully unaware of their dangerous situation.
With cars zooming nearby, one wrong move from these innocent puppies could spell disaster for them. The rescuers did not wait for more trouble to find these whelps and removed them from the side of the road, pronto.

Abandoned By A Heartless Pet Owner
The rescuers concluded that the pups were abandoned by an irresponsible dog owner. Found near them were a dirty plastic crate and a plastic water bottle cut in half.
The crate served as their temporary shelter, while the cut water bottle had a bit of water—a small mercy for these very young puppies. Whoever abandoned them thought that was enough, but didn’t even consider the perilous location of where they dropped off the pups!

The rescuers couldn’t help but feel upset towards irresponsible pet owners. There are now many neuter and spay programs available to all, but some pet owners still refuse to have their pets get these procedures.
And when they get unwanted puppies, these owners just abandon them wherever, with no thought or care for the welfare of these innocent creatures.
Rescuing The Pups
Thankfully, for every heartless pet owner, there are kindhearted people like the rescuers from Howl Of A Dog.
After checking the immediate area for more pups, the rescuers took all the pups they found and brought them to their shelter. There, the young pooches were given baths to get rid of fleas and dirt on their fur. They were also sent to the vet for flea treatment and deworming.

The rescuers gave them the names Jane, Jack, and Julia—all wonderful names for puppies so precious!

The active and playful puppies quickly got used to their home at the shelter. They immediately bonded with other rescues and loved frolicking in the grass with the other dogs.
When not playing with their furry friends, the three would spend the afternoon napping under the warm sunshine.

Jack eventually found his forever home in Santa Rosa, California. Together with his new doggy sibling, a German Shepherd named Lyra, Jack enjoys a life filled with dog-friendly beaches, walks in the park, and Puppaccino treats.

Meanwhile, Julia’s new family is from Houston, Texas, where their big backyard has now become Julia’s new playground. She also has new siblings, Lucia and Simon.

The trio may have gone to different corners of the world, but it’s wonderful to see all three get a second chance at life. After such a heartbreaking start, these pooches deserve a loving and carefree existence.
Now, they can be playful to their heart’s content, knowing they will be safe and loved fur-ever more.
